Where are your programs located?
Our school-year programs and summer programs are currently held at Ryther campus in north Seattle.
How are your programs different from others?
Seattle Creator Studio's vision is to help teens with diverse learning styles build transferable STEM and Creative Arts skills through hands-on, experiential learning, while also providing the interpersonal guidance that they need to succeed.
The pillars of our model:

- Our programs are geared towards teens with specialized interests and are facilitated by experienced leaders in the field.

- Each program is structured to help prepare participants for the future, including:
- Increased hard skills in a content area
- A tangible final product or portfolio
- Targeting organizational and collaboration skills through group activities

- Our program counselors use in-the-moment coaching to help participants work through challenges using perspective-taking, communication, and social problem-solving.
Who are your staff?
In addition to the lead Content Instructors, our participants are supported by program coordinators who have experience working with neurodiverse students. Our staff come from diverse professional backgrounds in special education, speech and language pathology, social work, mental health therapy, and other related fields.
Our current Content Instructors are:
- Anny Gately
- Anny Gately is a middle school teacher at Salmon Bay K-8. Twenty years of experience as an educator.
- Eve Lalonde
- Eve Lalonde is a UX and Design expert with extensive experience in the technology sector, including consulting with Blue Origin and MS.
How big is each session cohort?
Summer and school-year sessions are currently capped at 8 participants. We keep a 4:1 participant to staff ratio.
Can these programs be done online?
All summer and school-year programs are held in person, and do not have an option for remote participation.
For individual coaching, remote participation is accepted.
Will these sessions count for educational credits?
No, Seattle Creator Studio is designed to be passion-led learning and is not intended to prepare participants for specific academic goals. However, the skills and final products from our programs would look good on a resumé or college entrance application.
How do I enroll?
- All participants and their parent(s) must attend a free 30-minute enrollment meeting to establish fit and goals.
- Email us at info@aspiringyouth.net to schedule your enrollment meeting.
- You will receive an email letting you know if you have been accepted into the Seattle Creator Studio program and information on next steps for getting registered.
