Individual Coaching
At Seattle Creator Studio, we believe in providing offerings, to meet each young person's needs. For many teens, an individual coach can offer an important benefit as they navigate the first steps towards post-secondary opportunities.
Our coaching process begins with a free initial consultation to learn about the teen's goals. The coach and teen then work together to create a goal-centered approach. While many of our teens will have a STEM focus to their goals, our coaches are ready to help with exploration of many other fields as well.
Common areas of focus for the coaching relationship:
- Exploring and applying to summer high school internships
- Building a work portfolio to strengthen future academic or career pursuits
- Designing and creating an independent study project
- Selecting and pursuing a summer college course
- Planning a post-high school gap year experience
The coach is there for the teen - not just to navigate the logistical steps of internship and career exploration, but also to guide the student as they build better self-awareness and confidence.
